anyway...

here you go

put phone in restore mode

i.e. hold down HOME + SLEEP together

let go of sleep but keep the home button pressed

you will not see itunes + wire graphics it will just be a garbled black screen and itunes will prompt for restore

restore it to 1.1.3

once it's done quit itunes

and --> this is important<---

kill itunes listeners

once done

reconnect iphone to computer and see if itunes pops up (it should not if you have successfully killed the helper app)

you are good to go

CD to the folder where you have saved ziphone

type ./ziphone -a -j -u -v (mac> terminal app)

ziphone -a -j -u -v for windows

fix a drink

your phone will be good to go in 3-5min.

zibri you rocks ! I finaly get it working. The solution was to go into comand line mode (not thru the GUI) and type "ziphone -u -a -j -v" !

Activating the verbose mode on 3.9, make it work ! No idead of the reason behind, but addin -v it worked : I was able to migrate and old 1.0.2 with 3.9BL to the brand new 1.1.3 with full activation, jailbreak and desimlock. This is realy impressive.

Did you ever though of porting this to Java code, so anybody could use it from any OS (without you having to manually support OS specific code, cf. for instance your OSX version) ? Would be even more impresive and "da definitive iphone tool" !

I know there are a lot of problems out there but mi problem must be simple to you Zibri. I have used your aplication on my US OTB 1.1.2 and now I have an activated, unlocked and jailbreaked 1.1.3 iPhone but with NO WIFI and NO BLUETOOTH.

restore to 1.1.3 with itunes 7.5
run ziphone 2.0 GUI

I KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING THIS IS I HAD TO CAPE WITH IT MY SELF FOR 2 DAYS AND WENT TRHOUG 15 RESTORES AND I FINALLY GOT IT.

FIRST OF ALL ZIPHONE 1.2 WILL WORK WITH BOTH BOOTLOADERS. DISREGARD THAT ITS VERSION 1.0 IN THE README FILE

IF YOU GET STUCK WITH THE APPLE LOGO, HOLD BOTH POWER AND HOME BUTTONS FOR 30 SECONDS WITH YOUR PHONE DOCKED. DO A RESTORE IN ITUNES TO 1.1.3 (NO SHIFT KEY)

SO IN OTHER WORDS WHAT YOU NEED IS
1. PHONE IN 1.1.3
2. HAVE .NET FRAMEWORK 2 INSTALLED
DOWNLOAD IT FROM MICROSOFT WEBSITE)
3. ZIPHONE 1.2 MAKE SURE ITS EXTRACTED TO YOUR C DRIVE (C:\ZIPHONE)
4. ITUNES 7.5 AND 7.5 ONLY (IT DIDNT WORK FOR ME IN 7.4 OR 7.6)

THE GUI TENDS NOT TO WORK SO WE WILL USE THE COMMAND LINE

CLICK START RUN CMD

TYPE CD\
YOU SHOULD SEE C:\
TYPE CD ZIPHONE
TYPE ZIPHONE AND WHATEVER LETTER CORRESPONDS TO THE DESIRED ACTION (J A U) BUT PUT -V AT THE END (THIS WILL WORK AND GET YOU PASSED THE APPLE LOGO)

KEEP WATCHING YOUR PHONE AND THAT SHOULD DO IT.

please try below

chmod -R 755 /Applications/Installer.app

check the folder as with 1.1.3, this folder will be moving under /Mobile/Applications instead of only Applications.

Then install Community SOurce 3.5 and ur problem shud be resolved.. plz update...
i had faced similar issue today with my 1.1.1 and it worked with above solution.. i hope same for 1.1.3 :)...

Oh one quick addition to that - make sure itunes is installed but closed, and itunes.exe and ituneshelper.exe are end tasked using ctrl-alt-del or you will get stuck on USBListenerCreate No error or something like that like I was at first.

HOLY FUCK.

After a week of trying, this has unlocked my iPhone. I H/W downgraded it, did all sorts of stupid stuff to it, had the no signal bug etc.

And now it works. Fuck me. Zibri, I want to give you a big manly cuddle now.

In some cases the update leaves the iPhone in a state where all of it's memory is not available resulting in the "download failed" messages from installer.

1. Turn phone off
2. press and hold HOME while plugging phone in
3. re-run the 1.1.3 update from apple in itunes.
4. once it finishes quit itunes
5. shut off iphone
6. put back into restore mode by holding home and connecting to computer (don't let go of home until the screen appears)
7. NOW run ZIPHONE
8. After it finishes install BSD SUBSYSTEM and ANYSIM 1.3 via installer (it should work now)

These have been posted before, but it seems nobody wants to research anything on their own before proclaiming "it doesn't work" (which it does).

here is the run down of escapade

Machine MBP
OS Leopard 10.5.2
iTunes iTunes 7.5
iPhone 4.6BL (week 47) 1.1.2 OTB

Killed ituneshelper (look for the process in Activity Monitor and "kill")

Restored to 1.1.3, used iNdependence.app to boot after restore > error

status - activate screen

quit iTunes

reboot (sleep+home button for 3 sec and slide to right)

terminal

cd > ZiPhone folder

./ziphone -a -j -u -v

fixed a drink, crossed my fingers and legs

and after lot of verbose msg, high BP and few drink, I have a working unlocked and jailbroken Iphone

GUI version is not working propertly for my Windows vista, If i try it thought Run/Comands it works great.
In gui version it shows apple logo in the screen and nothing is happening, Itunes.exe and helper was killed. :)

thats my experience, I tested it on 3 phones ;)
