iPhone 5 To Have A Curved Glass Screen

There are some new reports circulating that are talking about the next generation iPhone which could possibly be the long awaited iPhone 5 and the fact that it could be getting a curved glass screen. This report comes after Apple reportedly purchased 200 to 300 glass cutting machines.
If reports are true, the iPhone 5 wouldn’t be the first curved glass device that Apple has made. In 2009 the iPod Nano was introduced with a similar type of screen. Even so, this would be the very first iPhone to have a curved glass screen if reports are true.
There have been a lot of iPhone 5 rumours over the past couple of months and these have included improvements in the camera quality, a large 4” screen and more. A couple of weeks ago it was reported that there probably wouldn’t be a major redesign on the next iPhone and that it might even be called the iPhone 4S and not the iPhone 5. These new reports have now led people to believe that the next iPhone will in fact be the iPhone 5 but as yet there is still no evidence to support this.
These new reports in no way disprove the rumours that the iPhone 5 has been delayed until next year and that we might actually see a slightly improved version of the iPhone 4 in the next couple of month. All these reports suggest is that Apple might be developing prototypes for internal use or getting suppliers ready for the possibility of an iPhone with a curved screen.
