The Internet search giant Google has already launched the latest version and completely redesigned Google Mobile app for Apple’s iOS devices. This is a massive update; the company even changed the name of their app to Google Search app. And aside from getting a new name, the new Google Search features a complete revamped User Interface along with the new and improved fast-app switching and more.

The new Google Search app features an enhanced toolbar, Voice Search, Search with My Location, Google Goggles, Gmail unread counts, quicker access to the search bar, and a lot more. Google’s Software Engineer Alastair Tse and Product Manager Robert Hamilton provide detail information regarding the new features and improvements on the new Google Search app:

“…you’ll see that there are now more ways to interact with the app. When browsing through search results or looking at a webpage, you can swipe down to see the search bar or change your settings. For those who use other Google apps, there’s an Apps button at the bottom of the screen for rapid access to the mobile versions of our products.”
