Recently, the Chronic Dev Team has just updated its Greenpois0n Software Jailbreak tool to bring support to AppleTV 2G. The Grrenpois0n RC6, just like the RC5, has a capability to untether jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 on AppleTV 2G and it also bring significant bug fixes to fix various errors and glitches. Now, FireCore, the developer team behind the Seas0nPass tool has an update for us. The dev team posted a blog update telling that they will release a new software update of Seas0nPass by nest week. The new software update of SeasonPass application will now support Windows operating system. Additionally, the update will also bring untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak on Apple TV 2G.

Those of you who signed up for the beta program has already received test copies of Seas0nPass for Windows, public version will be released next week.

The firecore dev team will utilize the Greenpois0n RC6 exploit to achieve an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1. Currently, Seas0nPass only supports 2nd-gen AppleTV and is Mac OS specific (Mac: OSX 10.6 or later).
