Looking for ways to save your photos from your Facebook.app directly on your iPhone? Well, we have some good news for you that will definitely make you happy. A new jailbreak app (yet to be released) called FBPhotosave App for jailbroken iPhone and iPod Touch (and iPad 2?) will allow you to save photos from the Facebook.app directly in your camera roll.
Once installed, this new Cydia tweak will allow your jailbroken iPhone and iPod Touch to be able to save the Facebook album (in high quality) pictures into the camera roll from the Facebook.app as this new tweak integrates directly with the native Facebook application. Saving Facebook photo is a breeze. Just keep your finger pressed a few seconds on a photo on Facebook app, a popup will appear for confirmation. Once you press the ‘Confirm’ button you will find that photo in your camera roll.
You can download FBPhotoSave app for iPhone and iPod Touch from Cydia Store via ModMyI repository for $0.99. In the meantime, you can watch the YouTube video posted below to see the app in action:
You should note that you should have a jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch in order to access Cydia to install this great app. If you don’t have a jailbroken iOS device then you can follow our step-by-step guide to untether jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad using Redsn0w 0.9.7 [link] or Greenpois0n RC5 [link]. Or if you rely on Ultrasn0w carrier unlock, you must jailbreak your iOS device using the recently released PwnageTool 4.2 for Mac OS X [link] or Sn0wbreeze 2.2 for Windows [link]. Enjoy!
