The Cupertino, California-based iPhone maker has just pushed today the version 10.1.2 of iTunes for both the Mac OS X 10.5 and higher and Windows (32-bit and 64 bit) operating systems. This seems to be a minor software update, important stability and performance enhancements, along with support for the upcoming Verizon Wireless’ CDMA iPhone 4 and iOS 4.3 Airplay digital media streaming.

According to the release note, the software update brings support for the Verizon compatible iPhone 4, which will be released at February 10, and AirPlay digital / wireless streaming.

Here is what’s new in iTunes 10.1.2:

• iTunes 10.1.2 syncs music, movies, and more with iPhone 4 (CDMA model) and provides a number of important stability and performance improvements.
• iTunes 10.1 came with several new features and improvements, including:
• Use AirPlay to instantly and wirelessly stream videos from iTunes to the all-new Apple TV.
• Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.2.

As we can see from the above change log Apple says the “CDMA iPhone 4,” this only means that there is a possibility that Apple might work with other CDMA network carriers other than the Verizon Wireless in the near future.

You can download iTunes 10.1.2 from Apple official website or through Apple Software update and it is 93.1MB in size.
