It seems that the much awaited unlock for the iPhone running iOS 4.2.1 is almost here. Popular iPhone developer and hacker by the name of iH8Sn0w has just released information on his upcoming project which is Sn0wBreeze 2.2. This new and improved software application will allow users to unlock their iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 that is running iOS 4.2.1.
This iphone unlock too is still in development mode and according to this developer users will be able to unlock iOS 4.2.1 with the help of the Ultrasn0w unlock too. This developer even posted a sneak peak of what he has planned on his twitter account the other day but information on the release date has yet to be released.
This new and improved version of Sn0wBreeze is expected to come complete with a brand new option called “Baseband Preservation Mode” and this will allow users to restore their iDevices to iOS 4.2.1 without having to upgrade their baseband. Other modes for the new Sn0wBreeze unlock tool include Simple Mode and Expert Mode that users can use to create custom firmwares without having to have their baseband upgraded.
It sounds amazing and I’m sure there will be plenty of iPhone users waiting anxiously for its release. There is no news as yet as to when the new Sn0wBreeze unlock tool will be released but we can guarantee you that as soon as we hear anything here you will be the first to know. It really does feel like the wait is almost over and you will be able to unlock your iPhone 4.2.1 very shortly.
