At long last, Apple has finally released that highly-anticipated iOS 4.2 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. The final version of apple operating system iOS 4.2 sports numerous changes. Some of the notable changes iOS are the Multitasking ability, Folders, Unified Inbox, Game Center, that were earlier available only on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Additional kewy features includes the AirPlay and AirPrint.
“iOS 4.2 makes the iPad a completely new product, just in time for the holiday season," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "Once again, the iPad with iOS 4.2 will define the target that other tablets will aspire to, but very few, if any, will ever be able to hit."
The new operating system adds an ability to users to stream a video to an AppleTV box through Apple's AirPlay. In addition, through AirPrint, Apple's wireless printing feature, iDevice users will have an ability to print their files and photos over Wi-Fi without the need to install drivers or download software. AirPrint currently supports certain HP printers, such as HP Photosmart, HP LaserJet Pro, and HP Officejet.
