Identity theft is a nightmare. Utmost care must be employed to protect personal information contained in your iDevices.

A lot of people use their iPhone or iPad as a virtual office desk that contains information of contacts, notes, social networking accounts, email, photos, and more.
Anyone who gets their hands on your iDevice could potentially gain access to this information and use it.

To ensure you are protected, get Locktopus. It is a tightly integrated app protection that’s compatible with all jailbroken iDevices.

Locktopus, developed by John Heaton and Coleman Stavish, doesn’t require you to respring for changes. It offers a convenient way of locking apps by simply tapping the bottom left corner of the app while it's in "wiggly mode". After doing so, a red lock will appear to indicate that the app is now locked. Tap the Home button to exit the wiggly mode.

After you have locked everything you wanted, your apps will ask for a password before launching. Make sure you change the default password in the Settings preferences. The default is "password".

Deactivating the app is also as easy as activating it. Simply tap to turn the lock icon off. You will be prompted for the password again in order to disable a locked app.

Locktopus is available in Cydia for only $2.00.
