It will soon be back to school again for students, and also back to football fever! The season has been made more exciting with the latest version of Madden. It is also exciting to note that EA has brought this app to the iPad as well. The graphics look nice despite is not being as good as the console version. It also has great features that ensure an enjoyable experience.
• The app allows you to draw out hot routes for passing, running, and defense.
• It also adapted the console’s GameFlow feature that lets you to choose your play without having to go back into the playbook.
• It has “Total Defensive Control” (TDC) that allows you to pause the game and strategically position your defensive players.
• There is an option to match up all 32 NFL teams with nearly 2,000 real players.
This is EA’s cream of the crop for years now and priced at $12.99 for iPad, and $7.99 for iPhones.
EA promised to add a multiplayer to the game soon and sees this season as an opportunity to increase its app sales in the iOS platform after a recent disappointing sales performance by some of its apps in the App Store.
EA has not offered a lite version to this latest version of Madden but it’s price is expected to be at a lower level in a month or so.
In the meantime, several iPhone owners who have the old version of Madden in their phones expressed disappointment that their favorite game tends to crash making them lose an entire season. They added that EA is not also keen on immediately fixing the problem because it took months for them to solve it.
Still, the market is full of surprises. We cannot predict how people will really respond to this updated offering at this early stage so just stay tuned.
