The iWork suite that is currently available for the iPad will probably be coming to the iPhone 4 too later this year. We are not sure what this will look like, maybe it will be similar to the iMovie app that has already been released. What I wanted to tell you today is that an iPhone hacker has already managed to get the iPad version of Pages up and running on the iPhone 4. According to this hacked he actually managed to get this to work by hacking into the info.plist file in the iOS 4 and then he resigned it. If you know how to do this then you too can add this iPad app to your iPhone 4. If not I’m sure there are plenty of ways to find out how to do it.
He posted the information in his Twitter stream stated that he just got Pages up and running on his iPhone 4 with a little hacking. He also stated that it does work on the iOS 4. He even including a picture that his Twitter followers could look at. The hacker in question goes by the Twitter username of @buzzert if you want to follow his Tweets. His Tweets are great and if you are looking for updates on the iPhone 4 then you need to be following this developer.
This will be great if it works and it will mean that you can do even more with the iPhone 4. The title bar on the hacked version does look a little messy but this is because the Pages is the iPad version which was of course designed for higher resolution display which comes with the iPad. Hopefully the Pages App will be available for the iPhone 4 shortly and it is also hoped that other iWorks Suite Apps will follow including Keynote and Numbers. We will of course keep you updated as soon as we receive any further information.
