The Apple iPhone supports tethering since the release of iPhone OS 3.0, but in many countries this awesome feature is blocked by the phone companies. The video below shows an easy and fast way to enable tethering on your iPhone running iPhone OS 3.1.2 so you can gain internet access for another device, e.g. a notebook. The only thing you need is a jailbroken iPhone.

danke für super Tutorials. konkret, effektiv und schnell.

This doesn't work for 3.1.3 - it just locks up the phone, forcing a restore.

I have ipod touch with firmware 1.1.5, and an intel macbook. I updated everything, followed the instructions to a T over and over, I keep getting this:
Searching for iPod...
USBMuxListenerCreate: Unknown error: 0

Then I tried using a couple other computers in the house (starting from scratch, restoring every time). I come from 1.1.4 and I had used ziphone successfully a few times..
whats wrong?! HALP!
