According to them, sn0wbreeze will work with iPod touch 2G, iPhone 3GS with 3.0. Briefly speaking, it is expected that you can create your own custom firmware on Windows (just as we do on Mac OS) with sn0wbreeze.
Moreover, sn0wbreeze besides being a Windows tool is at heart a pwnagetool. The only difference is that this time it is not coming from the dev team. The developer team porting pwnagetool from the dev team to Windows has divulged that they will allow iPhone 2G/iPhone 3G running iPhone OS 3.1 to jailbreak iphone.
