WORKED flawlessly in my v1.1.1 BL 3.9.
The phone is now v1.1.3 with baseband 04.03.13_G
I followed the tutorial step by step and entered the -a -j ALONE (Not -u) as I didn't have the 4.6BL
Then I installed anySim 1.3, run it and now I have a fully working v1.1.3 iPhone!!!

Yes I do This :) it work perfest on 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 OTB, if u have iphone with 3.0 BT with any firmware i use these steps, i have iphone with 1.1.1 and 3.9 BL just use Ziphone to Activate and Jailbreak the phone then install AnySime 1.3 Release by Zibri and unlock the phone then Update the Phone to 1.1.2 not restore and Jailbreak and activate again :) Yahoooooooooooooooooooooooooo :) it work great

I have BL 3.9, and no baseband (no imei, no iccid, no wifi...) can't flash it no wonder why...

i used the program on my 1.1.2 OTB upgraded to 1.1.3 using the ziphone -j -a command and the program proceeded as normal and said done, but when the phone rebooted it was the same as before with no installer... please help... thanks
Okay, I do not have an installer.app when I run either -j, or -j -a. I just want it jailbroken. This has been upgraded to 1.1.3 through itunes (its a launch iphone US). It tells me DONE but then when I look there is no INSTALLER on my home screen.

BSD and openssh are available thru installer.
I wanted to keep the tool MINIMAL.
After -j -a, just run installer and install BSD and openssh.
About the osx version I just woke up! When I find a woking one i will include it in the official archive.
I totally agree with Zibri to leave just the minimal tool: jailbreak+ installer and activate...just becouse there are some people (like my dad :-)) that don't care about more apps on the device, just want a working iphone.
For exemple: on my dad iphone i'll have to remove Installer.app too through Independence :-D

Even I have aproblem, I updated installer.app in 1.1.3. As soon as the update was complete iPhone went to "Slide for Emergency" mode. I can still make calls though, but and cannot do anything else.
I tried to restore to earlier version using itunes, but itunes does not reconize my iphone and says it maybe damaged.

I've got the same problem as kumar. My Phone is a 3.9 BL, which I updtaed via installer to 1.1.3 using the dev method, then updated the modem to the latest one and unlocked it with anysim.
Yesterday I restored to 1.1.3 via itunes to get a "clean install" and after running ziphone -a -j, I get the activation screen, uniactivated, but the strange thing is that the sim is unlocked. I can make phone calls...
I've tried to downgrade to 1.1.2, 1.1.1 and to 1.02, but it either stays perpetually on resotre mode (despite idependence, etc) or it fails to downgrade.

I was able to get back to 1.1.1 finally. Basically if I put restore mode twice in a row, I fot a blck screen instead of the itunes logo. Then I was able to restore to 1.1.1 with a 1015 error, but independence would not kick the phone out of the restore mode, do I restored for a second time 1.1.1 again with a 1015 error and then independence finally snapped out!
I'll tell you how it goes from here.

One question to the ones who are on 1.1.3:
What is the best way to update to 1.1.3?
Via the installer and the DEV update?
Or via iTunes (which I would prefer *g*)?
Or will an iTunes update brick the phone?

Okay, I do not have Installer after when I run either -j, or -j -a. This tells me my iPhone wasn't jailbroken. All I need is for this thing thing to be jailbroken. This has been upgraded to 1.1.3 through itunes. The ziphone process says "Done", but there is no Installer when I go into the main screen. There are multiple people who have had this issue, anyone know of a fix??
To everyone having problems:
you HAVE to SHUTDOWN the iPhone correctly BEFORE using ZiPhone !
Take the iphone from the DOCK.
press and hold ONLY the power button for 5 seconds.
The SLIDE TO power off.
Then keeping the HOME button pressed (only the home button),
connect to dock.
And keep the home button pressed until the iPhone is in RECOVERY mode.
Then RUN ZiPhone.
Someone please answer me: Can upgrade my unlocked (but virginized) 1.0.2 phone to 1.1.3 on iTunes without formatting/restoring, and then use this tool?

I have an ipod touch that came with 1.1.3.
When I run "ziphone -v" with any of the other options it makes the ipod boot, but it keeps writing
BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0

I used the app and it unlocked my 1.1.2 OTB iPhone which I had been using with a TurboSim but otherwise it was not upgraded to 1.1.3, all my info and applications are also still there.
Do I need to run the upgrade to 1.1.3 in iTunes and then do the unlock/jailbreak/activation with ziphone?
THIS FIXED MY NO INSTALLER PROBLEM:

Hi , i just unblocked mi iphone and it worked perfect but after installing a bunch of games and aplications to it my main screen is full and im not able to scroll to other screens , te installer is not showing anymore , the rest of the phone works well but i cant use the installer or see all the things that i downloaded what can i do to fix this??? thanks

Just like to say thanks heaps! I have been trying all sorts of different methods using my Vista PC and Mac - it's been a nightmare. With your awesome GUI I simply selected unlock, activate and jailbreak, hit go, sat back, 20 minutes later I have 1.1.3 phone working with my NZ Vodafone SIM and everything is working perfectly - SUPERB!!! :)
Oh and to confirm, my phone was brand new 1.1.3 OTB and this is ALL I used to crack it, JUST this tool and I hit all 3 options at once.

With this 1.1.3 jailbreak can you still receive and send text messages? Send and receive calls? Can't find anything that states this.
Tried with -j goes to black w/apple flashing occasionally and nothing happens for 15 minutes.
Tried with -j -a some thing.
I tried with both ziphone 1.0 and 1.1
I bought my iphone from att close to the day 1.1 firmware came out. I did the jailbreak for 1.1 and updated to 1.3 a few minutes ago and have restored the phone several times between attempts. Hope that helps debug.
I have a 1.1.2 OTB that was jailbroken, and updated to 1.1.3 via iTunes. I tried to run ziphone -a -j (Windows Vista), and I get to the part where it says, 'Please wait 45".', but then nothing happens.
Before running the ziphone command, I put the phone in DFU (iTunes icon with cable), and shortly after executing the command, the screen goes blank then the apple logo appears and it just sits there.

Unfortunately, on an original 4gb iPhone it doesn't work.
after Wait 45 appears, I give it fifteen minutes, but it just sticks with the apple logo, I then kill ziphone and use iTunes to restore the phone.

I have 1.0.2 version with 03_14_08_g modem version. I have jailbroken and activated it using iBrickr last year in september. Never unlocked though. I want to upgrade to 1.1.3 version, but don't want to unlock it since I am already on att network (us). How should I proceed? Please help.
if your iPhone is sitting with the Apple logo and won't do anything, I found a way to fix it. Mine did that and just holding the sleep/wake button wouldn't do anything. I held down the sleep/wake button and the home button until it turns off then quickly release all buttons. If you hold them too long it just goes back to the Apple logo. Once it's powered off, then hold the home button down and plug it into the dock. That will get it into recovery mode and you can restore it in iTunes.
I'm on about my 8th time of trying this, it reboots the phone and has the Apple logo and does nothing more.

Tried it, didn't wok, phone kept hanging at the "Please wait 45"" stage with a reboot and an apple logo staring me in the face for half an hour.

Ziphone is amazing however I have seen criticism by some loosers on other forums regarding two shortcomings and would like to request to a fix by you in Ziphone. It should be a piece of cake for you.
1. Not a full jailbreak that is unlike other jailbreaks you do not get full file access to the iphone from apps like iphonebrowser, ibrickr, ilanguage e.t.c
2.After running this you get Available storage at 7.1 out of 7.3 Does this mean Ziphone is not cleaning up properly.

All who have a question about upgrading from 1.0.2 to 1.1.3, here is how I did it.
1. Restore to 1.1.3 using iTunes (7.5)
2. Unplug your iPhone from your computer.
3. Reboot iPhone
4. Plug it back in
5. Kill iTunesHelper and iPodService using windows task manager
6. Navigate to Ziphone folder using command prompt
7. ziphone.exe -j -a -u -v
8. Wait for a couple of minutes
9. You are all set
STUCK AT APPLE LOGO?? Try this:
(for the technically challenged)
1. Turn off the phone (hold menu+sleep/wake button)
2. Restart your computer
3. After your pc boots, On the iphone, hold down the menu button for a few seconds while pluggin into your computer. Keep the button held!!
(this forces it into recovery mode)
4. Now open a cmd prompt (start, then run, type cmd)
5. Use DOS commands to navigate to the folder where ziphone is located. Not a DOS expert? Extract the ziphone.zip to the C:\ziphone
Then go to the DOS Prompt and type:
cd c:\ziphone
Next command is
ziphone -v -u
This should unlock your phone which should restore it back to the home screen (worked for me!)

i manage to unlock my iphone on 113 earlier it was on 111 with 3.9 after unlock it is showing 04.03.13_G how do i check my bootloader....its working fine do i need to do anything more....plz tell some apps r nt working........
i had problems a few days ago, i unlocked but could not get signal (113 - 112otb). using your latest version i managed to downgrade bootloader, and change my imei. instantly i changed imei i got network. so thanks dude for making a software so clever a dumbass like me can do some really complex stuff, and not brick iphone in the process. when i open sms it briefly opens and then goes back to springboard. please someone help
i get loads of free sms and dont want them to go unused
so i sort of fixed the sms thingy by installing isms from installer. seems to be working. i was copying contacts from my sim with isim, but it was not working, so i went on the internet (safari - on iphone) when i went back to springboard i have no service. i have tried all the steps i went through to unlock, with the exception of changing the imei. should i need to change imei when it is only an hour or so old? what do i do?
ok - so i changed my imei number and woking once again. i am putting in a random number, is this wrtong? can someone suggest an imei number that wont die after an hour please

iPod touch 8G users and iPhone users have done jailbreaking but someone who uses touch 16G says that they have a problem about BSD root.

1) iPhone is OFF and connected to PC via USB or Dock with MY current Sim Card to be.
(iClarified says its supposed to be in DFU mode. Is this correct?)
2) Run ziphone -j -a -u since I dont want 3.9 BL
3) DONE.

For all OSX Users on Tiger - USE FIREFOX when you click on the Mac download link. It will download to your HD and you will see the Zibri icon there. Just click it with iPhone plugged in. It worked for me! Thank you Zibri and support member Vegim.

Everytime I click the "Download Ziphone" link all it does is refresh the screen I am currently on. Is there a way you could maybe email the file or something???

Hey zibri your programme is awesome. I am running 1.1.4 everything works flawlessly but youtube. It keeps giving me an error saying cannot connect to youtube.
All worked great, I had OTB iPhone 1.1.1 (with jailbreak + anySIM) all working fine. Restored to 1.1.4 ran ZiPhone GUI 2.5b and all woked great ... except no more EDGE, just get a little square and no 'E' anymore. Any ideas ?

He means restore your phone and then install 1.1.4. Do not do a direct update of 1.1.4.
Restore will delete all your old files and make your iphone practically new.

We had a dead phone (1.1.2 OTB updated to 1.1.3) that we had tried to restore update to 1.1.4 which even iTunes couldn't do, so we tried ziphone on OSX and it fixed the phone, unlocked and jailbroke it, and on top of all that, it still had all its original data on it (which I had presumed was lost!)
Now we have an unlocked 1.1.4 iPhone! Wonderful!

People running 1.1.4 on your unlocked jailbroken phone. Please tell me if you are having trouble with you tube. I still cannot get you tube to work, I keep getting an error saying "cannot connect to you tube"

My question is this, when my phone arrives, should i run ZiPhone rite away?
I am going to use AT&T since i already have an account with them, so i just want to use the Jailbreak method, correct?

Hey i used ziphone for my 1.1.3 OTB. I unchecked the downgrade bootloader option and jailbreak,activated and unlocked. It now has bootloader 4.6. I just have a question, why is everyone saying that ziphone will always downgrade bootloader.

Since you already have an att account you will not need to unlock it. Although if you activate with att you will be signing a 2 year contract with them. My advice to you is the first thing when you get your phone is to use ziphone to jailbreak(so you can add third party apps) and activate your phone. There an an option on the ziphone gui to do just this. Once you have done thing call att and tell them you are using an iphone and give them the iphone serial no.(so you will be under warranty with apple). Hope this helps, lemme know if you have any more questions.

Hey I also read that ziphone downgrades the bootloader. Even if it does downgrade it, what are the disadvantages? How do I check my bootloader version? and what are the benefits of having the latest bootloader?

I am struggling with a problem that even the + folks on #ziphone could not help. I restored my phone [recovery mode] to 1.1.4 in Itunes latest version. Do it all works great, but when phone gets unlocked, i lose all sounds i.e. no rings when call comes in, no keyboard clicks, no unlock - lock clicks etc. Ipod plays and call on speakerphone works, but no other sound. Can you help me please. My phone was originally 1.1.2 OTB. By the way, great job with this software. Genius work!

2 questions
1. When I try to install BSD Subsystem Open SSH or any other app for that matter. (WIFI is ok I can open Safari) I get a Failed Download package message.
2. itunes is showing I have the iphone in devices, but I cant see the Summary, Sync, Ringtones, Music, Photo's screen. Did I do something wrong?
I guess it may have something to do with the message after I upgraded to 1.1.4 via Ziphone 2.5GUI said something about a "wanted" button. Which I didnt find.
Any suggestions would be mostly appreciated.

Dont upgrade using ziphone. And dont even upgrade from itunes. Do a complete RESTORE from Itunes make sure you have saved all your contacts on itunes and then start of as a new iphone dont do a back up from ur previous one. After doing all this use ziphone to unlock and jailbreak.
I have a1.1.2 ootb and I updated to 1.1.4 and did all with 2.6b.
Now there is a problem with maps. It still assumes united states when no country is written and cannot find the adress in germany.it does not understand german language when i use german country names.
Using outlook "germany" is called "deutschland" but maps is only accepting country-names on english

Installed ziPhone 2.6b. The installation seemed succesful. However, every time I open YouTube a message pops that says "Cannot connect to YouTube". I've tried everything in the troubleshooting guide but I'm still having the same problem. Can you help?

Hi guys, I'm Albert this is my first post I understand it's not very nice to ask help in my first post but I'm a bit desperate here. I unlocked my iphone using Ziphone 2.6b. But when I go into my springboard, all my application I installed previously were all gone. I thought they were supposed to be deleted somehow after the unlock BUT when I pressed on the installer icon, under uninstall, all my applications I installed previously remained installed but they don't appear in my spring board. Why is that? Another funny thing is, I tried installing new apps after that and the new apps appear in my spring board like normal. But those that I installed previously before I unlock remained gone.
Second issue, I could download apps in Installer there is no problem except when I try to reinstall or install BSD Subsystem, it keeps saying package download failed. But I could install other stuffs. Why is that?
By the way,
I updated my iphone from 1.1.2 to 1.1.4 via iTunes by pressing the update button not the restore button. After iTunes download v1.1.4, it installs in my iphone automatically and reboots to main screen. That's when I go to ziphone and press 'Do it All'... I saw from somewhere that it's recommended (I wonder if it's a must)... to have the phone in restore mode in the first place, then only press Do it All? But it works in my iphone everything got unlocked... my iphone says 1.1.4 now in the About page...

You guys need to read the blogs for people having similar issues. Zibri has said and I have also replied to someone else with the same problem. You need to restore your phone, not just a direct update, since the installer leaves files on your iphone and doesnt delete them when you do an update.
Hiya Saiyam, I have read the blog haha it doesn't matter now all you guys have helped me a lot. Although my iPhone is too precious but I rolled back to 1.1.3 by going to restore mode and did exactly wat was told (pretty dodgy and scary at times) and 1.1.3. Didn't wanna mess with my phone with 1.1.4 just yet. Will do when it gets lesser bug and more stable. LOL!
Another problem that I have been having is with web apps for facebook, gmail, jive talk. The web apps never store my password and on facebook i have to log in twice always and after about a minute or 2 it automatically signs me out.I had unlocked originally with ziphone 2.5 and now I restored and unlocked with ziphone 3.0 but it is still giving me the same problem. Hello, I used the last version of ziphone and Ive been completely happy except for my youtube not working. Tried the fixes out there on installer and they didnt work. So I restored and downloaded the ziphone 3.0dmg for mac. My you tube does not work still. Did I do something wrong or should i just open ziphone and choose the jailbreak option since I already unlocked, jailbroke and activated it?

I had the same you tube problem earlier with ziphone 2.6 and none of the you tube fixes from the installer worked so I had to use this method. http://www.iphonehacks.com/2008/03/youtube-fix.html
Although after I saw ziphone 3.0 which is supossed to fix you tube I restored my iphone and used ziphone 3.0 and it unlocked my phone and fixed you tube. Just make sure you restore your phone and then use ziphone 3.0 and then when you sync it to itunes dont set it up from a backup of your old phone..start of as a new iphone. You wont loose your contacts..they will still be synced with outlook.

I have an 8GB iPhone and Windows XP. I had 1.1.4 and decided to jailbreak. I downloaded ZiPhone and did jailbreak/activate, which worked fine. I played around with that for a while, but then decided I wanted to use the NES emulator, so I needed to downgrade to 1.1.3. So it deleted all media, content, etc. from my phone, went into ZiPhone, put it in DFU mode, downloaded the 1.1.3 firmware pack through ZiPhone, and restored my phone to it. Then I did a jailbreak through ZiPhone, but had no Installer. So I ran jailbreak again, and this time I had Installer but no service. I tried reset network settings (didn't work) and reset all settings (didn't work). I went into iTunes, restored my backup, but still no service. I added all the songs and movies I had before, still no service. So I went into ZiPhone and did a jailbreak/activate, and after a while, it froze at a black screen with a white non-blinking cursor in the top left corner on my phone, while ZiPhone kept running for 10 minutes or so before I stopped it. I then tried jailbreak/activate again, and ZiPhone went for a while but never found my phone (neither does iTunes, or Adobe Photo Album 3 which used to open whenever I plugged in my phone). I tried jailbreak, jailbreak/activate, and do it all, none did anything. I can't put my phone into sleep mode, and none of the buttons have any affect. I checked for typo's in those two error messages by the way. There are two space between Need and configuration. PLEASE HELP!!! I have no clue what has happened and can't figure out what to do. My dad (who paid for my phone) said it would be a bad idea to jailbreak my phone, and if he finds out I broke it he'll kill me. I NEED HELP!!! If you would like me to clarify anything, just ask. This is an update to a comment I previously posted (but which hasn't been posted on the site yet). My phone never shut down or went into sleep mode after there was the text on it, so I left it sitting there over night. This morning wyhen I woke up it was dead, so I put it in a charger (not hooked up to a computer, but the wall) and it started going through the ZiPhone jailbreak process again, but stopped at looking for discs. It then said Can't find discs (or something similair) and rebooting. It then rebooted, and I have the installer, 1.1.3, and everything working normally. So I don't need to fix anything but the no service problem anymore. So if anyone can help me with that problem, once again I have an 8GB iPhone, Windows XP, and jailbroke it with ZiPhone 3.0 after downgrading to 1.1.3, and don't get service anymore (occasionally 1 bar, but never edge, and wifi doesn't work). I have AT&T if that matters. Any help would be appreciated.

Your message is too long and I don't have time to read the error's and stuff:-) Here are two things that you can do put the phone in recovery mode by pressing the power and home button for about 25-30 seconds while it is connected to your pc/mac and once it shows the connect iphone logo on your phone, it is in recovery mode and just restore the whole phone.
Since you have at&t just take your phone to apple tell them it doesnt work and they will just replace it within 15-20 minutes. Don't tell them that you tried to jailbreak it or anything like that

Nice work. I have a 1.1.3 Jailbroken using a different method (before you came out with this amazing tool)
I have been trying to get my neighbor to jailbreak his for about, well since I jailbroke mine last year, and finally last night I told him to man-up and just do it.
Took 30 freaking seconds!!! I was like WTF man... It took me hours upon hours and had to replace 'lockdownd' just to get my phone activated again.
Very impressive...
He is much happier now and was giggling like a little kid when he was installing apps last night.
(now if only he would understand what SSH is) LOL
regarding the missing Installer application after doing "Do It All": I just did the jailbreaking again (by clicking on the Jailbreak button) and it installed the installer application on the iphone.

I used ziphone once for my iphone on a macOS and it worked. teh problem now (and I know I shouldn't have done this) is that I updated by mistake my iphone to the 2.0 version and now it doesn't work at all. not even for emergency calls. I tried to restore it via iTunes but since the only option is "update and restore" it takes me back where I am right now. Is there any way to restore the iphone?
