Hi Zibri, i'm currently on a 1.1.3 (dev-softupgrade), BL 4.6 running the gunlock (so i'm unlocked).
Is there a way i can just upgrade the baseband and unlock it with your tool without restoring everying and losing all my settings and apps?

The phone must be booted normally, PAIRED with iTUNES then powered down with the normal slide to power-off.
If you do this everything will work fine.

Quick question: what baseband is supported for the unlock? Does it already unlock the one that comes with 1.1.3, or is that one still under development for bootloader 4.6?

Luiz , Unlock and IMEI Change are only for BL 4.6
all the other features are for any bootloader version.

Be careful - modifying an IMEI carries a jail sentence in many countries. So even if the option is there don't even think about it.

but it's use could lead YOU to be jailed.
IMPORTANT
To REPAIR a *DEAD* baseband, do THIS:
Put the iphone in recovery mode (NOT DFU..normal recovery mode)
Then run: ziphone -u
And you will have back IMEI and WIFI.
This procedure already worked on 3 phones.

i have a problem, WinXP, iTunes 7.4.3, two iPhone's with dead baseband, one phone is restored (with error) to 1.1.3 (baseband still dead), and every time I run "ziphone -u" the program crashes when the iPhone is in recovery mode...if the phone is in "cable+itunes" mode, then the program says, please wait 2'30" and it passes to 30 min, and nothing happens...

I have 1.1.3, 3.9 with unlocked 04.03.13 modem. I restore it to JB and Activate with Ur tool, coz youTube not works after Dev-Team 1.1.3 update from Installer.
I make "ziphone.exe -j -a" and phone works fine, but one thing... Installer not works :(
In gives "Main script execution failed" on every operation.
Any ideas?

what's the point of ziphone, if by unlocking the 04.03 modem firmware, you end up having the 04.02 firmware... how is this any better the previous methods of soft upgrading ... really i see no point in having this... congrats on your great work though

I don't think so.. it doesn't like the touch at all. If in DFU mode it just segfaults when tying to run jailbreak, and in restore mode it hangs on 'Working...'

It only downgrades baseband if you unlock a 4.6BL phone, it cant unlock 3.9 ones, and its better cause you can restore to 1.1.3/have a 1.1.3 phone and use this directly.

I don't have osx.. someone is re-compiling it and test it.
@zero all i'm saying is that it would have been better if we could have a fully functional 1.1.3, but we don't because of the modem firmware, this being the case there's no point in upgrading just so we have a crippled 1.1.3 (again)

will I have 4.03.13 BB and be able to use turbo sim or do I need to unlock it (i.e. ziphone -a -u -j) and stay with 4.02 till we find the answer?

I was trying to use your software and I put my iPhone in DFU mode then when your software detect it said wait 2'30" but after that time nothing happen and my phone stack with the apple on the screen and is not detected on the USB port

it dont activate or jailbreakes an original 1.1.3 or 1.1.2 ootb iphone with current 1.1.2 or 1.1.3 on it.
u have to downgrade to 1.1.1
so it doesnt help me so much. it takes as long as appsnap and 307 thing...

there will be always the activation screen.
I read in hackintosh that people are saying that the installer that comes with this had some apps installed before putting it in the package (aka it was not a fresh installer) and that prevents them from being installed if you dont modify a .plist file.
is it so ? im planning on restoring to 1.1.3 on my 3.9BL phone today and using this soft (that i donwloaded from rapidshare, since filefront refuces to work from me, but i didnt keep the link).

here is what happened to me:
- jailbroken 1.1.2 OTB restored to 1.1.3 via iTunes
- ziphone -a -j
result - jailbroken 1.1.3, but:
- NextSIM NOT working (just to let you know)
- Installer.app problem as explained by zero
so, i'm going down to 1.1.2!
turns out that this too is still not TRUE jailbreak! :(
quick fix for the crashing installer problem:
cd /private/var/mobile/Library/Installer/
mv LocalPackages.plist LocalPackages.plist.old

I just forgot a plist in installer...
(you can redownload and rerun OR you can just delete ~/Library/Installer/LocalPackages.plist)
Didnt work for me.. Restored to 1.1.3, ran ziphone -j, found the found, told me to wait, phone rebooted, ziphone said DONE! and no installer on springboard.
What about how to change the imei zibri ? when i enter the command in cmd prompt it just list the options again :S Do i need to use the gunshot thing ?
ok, the redownloaded file seems to fix the installer, now I get another issue:
when I install summerboard and reboot I lose the sound (all sound is gone, even calls)
I didn't have this issue with the previous jailbreak ...
any ideas ?

For me everything works great.
I had a 1.1.2 OTB i updated it to 1.1.3 and now i have 1.1.3 witg BB 4.2.13 and everything works great.
No problems during the process.
