Please accept my apologies.
A stupid bug in 2.1 didn't allow my "Z" icon to be deleted
and caused some minor problems.
A stupid typo.
In the download frame you now have ZiPhone 2.2.
Nothing changed. Bug removed.
And now some rest.. then back for new features shortly
in the next days..

Note:
ZiPhone never bricked a phone so far.
IPSF or 'freeipsf' users can't upgrade to 4.03.. because isf method corrupts
the baseband (and apple checked that in 4.03).
You can still use ziphone -u option.
Yesterday I was very tired and just put the wrong windows exe in the archive.

This thing became a never ending story. I thought that youtube /yahoo problem was the end of troubles. After seeing that some people have bluetooth problems I tried to see if my phone works with the head set. Surprise, it was not, bluetooth was off and turning it on would cause an wheel to spin forever. Damn! Then after some things I tried I succeded to turn it on and pair with the headset. I have done more than one thing, so I dont't know what worked. As far as I remember I did this:
1. Reset network settings - no result
2. Turn Airplane mode off then on - no result
3. Opened WinSCP and deleted the file residing in folder /private/var/root/Library/Lockdown/pair_records . Hehe, crazy idea, I risked but .. . - no result yet
5. At some point I think I turned WiFi off, I can't remember.
4. Finally, after probably a restart (don't remember), I turned Airplane on, then I tried to activate bluetooth and warned me that it will exit airplane mode, I said Yes and voila: it worked. Bluetooth got on, paired succesfully with headset. The WiFi was off at that point but I turned it on and worked.
Phew!
I don't know if all the steps are necessary or harmless, but is what I did and decided to share the information. My problem probably was not too big as the MAC for WiFi and Bluetooth were not missing and WiFi was working.

Dude, instruction are really weak. Don't take it personal, just we are not all Computer Science geeks. Good with the computer yes, but still my E.S.P. doesn't work.

hi, i just have a question.. whe i try to connect to winscp it ask me a passwor and user name.. it's the same as always (i mean user name :root password: alpine) cause i can't connect my iphone wifi.. it's that possible with this metod..

Thanks for all the hardwork, just simple question. On Ziphone 2.2 I read the README.txt file, it says that if you have already Unlocked your 1.1.2 OOB with Geohot method (gunlock) you cannot downgrade your boot loader to 3.9, I am I correct?
That case, if we just execute ziphone -a -j -u -v after we did a full restore to 1.1.3 will it still give us all the cool feutures? I read from iclarified that in order to have the google maps locate me working we need to have the new 04.03.13 baseband.
Really sorry if my question is a little bit stupid, since I notice there are many people with same condition like I do...

after a couple of previous attempts and methods to unlock i've tried ziphone2.2
then something weired happened.
it did get unlocked but i could not get past the emergency screen even though i could normally dialout and receive phone calls
the simple solution was to:
1. downgrade to 1.1.1
2.upgrade to 1.1.3
3.run ziphonegui 2.2 with itunes shut off and ituneshelper.exe killed off
4.check only jailbreak and activate
worked like a charm and that within a minute
Hey I have a little problem, hope someone can help me, when I start doing the unlock, jailbreak and activation process it keeps saying "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

I have a 1.1.2 OTB which I jailbreaked by downgrading to 1.1.1and then used OKtoPrep/1.1.2 jailbreak from Conceited. I also SIM unlocked using the Geohots Gunlock Script from Big Boss. Can I use ITunes to upgrade to 1.1.3 and Ziphone to jailbreak/unlock? Has anyone tried this? I've done some research but cant find a definite answer on this.

First of all, I'd like to comment on a very impressive application.
I have just bought iPhone 8GB, and jailbreak worked great.
However, phone is still unable to accept non-at&t SIM. (I see the red dot).
Any ideas? (I am working to default the phone and retry, but have a feeling outcome will be the same)

I have ZIPHONE VER 1.0.0 and tried to unlock my iphone using it on windows xp sp2. but the "iPhone Shell by Unlock.no" isnt starting giving "faied to initialized error".
i then tried the cmd line version, it runs, loads the zibri.dat file, searches for the iphone nd says "working.... please wait 2.5 mins", but then it seems to hang up.
i ran the ziphone frm cmd line using following command ziphone -u-j-a
in all my atempts, the phone was in restore mode.

when every i start the jailbreak process in ziphone then it boots the itouch in recovery mode and stops but it says it continues working and i have let it work for 24 hours and still wasn't jailbroken. any help.
