Oh how lame this is getting. Is this meant for geohot who clarified what the number was that you posted. So that confirms that you are NOWHERE near a software unlock for 1.1.2 right? Why don't you just say so?
OMG.. damn people stop posting here if the only thing you want is SW unlock, this blog is interesting because it's written this way..its like a mystery when you are not told everything and many things are left for your imagination..the blog is great so pls stop it.. zibree knows what he's doing and he's doing it the way he likes.. all you can do is respect it. amen

100% agree. All this mockers kind of requesting a sw unlock are quiet annoying.
Personally I think this blog is quiet amusing, especially when you look at people/media reactions to zibris cryptic posts :).
yeah, it's like to go in the house of someone and tell you do not like the way is furnished...you're free to do it, but still cannot understand why all this noise. if you do not like this blog, (and it is more than understandably: sometime all this mistery is a bit disappointing since the iphone still an ipod) well, just do not visit it! I assure we are not interested in such posts, zibri's ones are more than enough!

Process of 1.1.2/1.1.3 bb hacking has already been confirmed for many times! Team's working on it, do u understand? It's unlikely to be accelerated by your swears here.

It's pretty clear for me now that the magic number shown in the previous post is somehow related to 8900 files signing (as I have previously stated on IRC before), as this post's image seems to be an applelogo.img2 replacement (and I guess that Zibri has been able to load it using setpicture).
People may blame Zibri for not working on BL4.6 unlocking (and I don't actually know if he is actually not working on it), but I don't find this finding insignificant at all, because it would allow the creation of custom firmwares that could be restored to the phone using iTunes, so u could create patched IPSW files that would restore a jailbroken system directly.

he said he isnt working on baseband unlock, does he mean bootloader? to me baseband unlock comes after bootloader unlock. am i right?

it seems dumb to let Apple know you have this. why not keep it a secret so you can insta-decrypt all firmwares to come and leave Apple scratching their heads..?
Zibri gave the key but he didn't say how he/they did it... Is it possible to tell right now if Apple is able to change that key ?

the key can definitely be changed. it doesnt work with 1.0.2 according to geohot. if they changed it once they'll change it again

Well, as far as i know that key can't be changed. It's hardcoded.
Surely they can totally update itunes and don't use that key.. but then again... :)
zibri i aprreciate al the work uve done and all the work ur doing right regardless of the iphonedrama website....but the only thing i want u to remember is that 90% of the ppl who read ur blog dont understand the language u speak when it comes to iphones...and everytime we come to this blog to read we find that every new post means nothing to us bc u make it so most of us dont understand it...so what im asking is just for a one sentence explanation to every new post u have about what it is...considering we visit this blog everyday hoping to find a sw unlock solution for otb 1.1.2 and we end up finding something that makes no sense to us....thanks

Anysim 1.2.1u completely bricked my baseband to the point where no wifi, no imei, no iccid no nothing. Every restore results in 1012. No one has been able to give me a way to fix it but I have faith that you might be able to. please send me a line at 12.oh.four@gmail.com
what is the potential for a changed re-encrypted ramdisk?
can the fls and eeb files be swapped, so in theory restoring to 1.1.2/3 with an older baseband or bootloader?

i have an idea by collecting the files dont they have the code which itunes upload them while collecting that code cant you guys just create a new custome firmware but with the same things as apple and just change the bootloader and the baseband to a modded one?
